| Q: If this site is secure, then why is there a
warning about your security certificate? A:
Huge online businesses such as Walmart and JC Penney
have their own dedicated web servers and can buy and
install their own security certificates, which
"tells" computers that the company is who they say they
are.
Because SOZO Clean is a small company, we do not need
to have our own dedicated web server. Also, web servers and web server
maintenance costs tens of thousands of dollars
each year for businesses. To have our own dedicated web
server for the handful of online orders we get, would
not be cost effective nor a wise business
decision.
Q: Since you do not have your own dedicated web
server, then how do you conduct internet based business
transactions?
A: We "rent" web server space from our web
host, Globat.com, who has made it possible for small
businesses such as SOZO Clean to have an online business
presence.
Quoted from Globat.com, "SSL secured hosting
allows all Globat.com customers to accept information,
including credit card numbers, securely over the
Internet."
We
share Globat's valid security certificate for
authentification purposes when users order things
online. This is why our business name, SOZO Clean,
does not match our web host's name, Globat, and thus
users get a warning stating our name does not match the
security certificate. Rest assured, we are secure and no
one is phishing for your personal information on our
site.
Q: How can I be sure this is true?
A: See the following news links about this
issue from Globat.
