SOZO Clean Receives the Only 2008 Governor's Environmental Excellence Award for Small Business

Lesa Ankney, President of SOZO Clean LLC, humbly accepted the 2008 Governor's Environmental Excellence Award during The Department of Environmental Quality Award Banquet held at VMI, April 2, 2008, in recognition of SOZO Clean's outstanding environmental program.

Every year, many applications are made to DEQ to receive this prestigious award. However, in 2008, only SOZO Clean LLC earned enough points to receive a Governor's Award in the small business program category. SOZO Clean's strong environmental program includes staff training, education of the general public and use of non-toxic products that help maintain Chesapeake Bay water health and indoor air quality.
